“fuckin’ mon, then”

What a show! I saw Muse on Wednesday night (3/3/10) and that it was easily the best show I have ever seen.  Well first there was Silversun Pickups, which were meh and pretty boring.  I did like the bassist Nickki (Nicky/Nickie?) because she was very precious and said she liked crabcakes. The other thing I liked was the exceptional sound quality! My ears didn’t hurt at all!

But on to the great part:

Muse was amazing.  The musical bit was awesome, and everyone sounded phenomenal.  I had a great view from almost the front of the pit, which was strangely nice…no pushing or squeezing.  The light show was so beautiful.  I love the care that they put into the artistic side of the show.  To start: There was these three columns that were covered with cloth that looked like stairwells that had these figures walking up forever and ever. Then they all started falling, and the music started, and the cloth dropped, and there they were, in the center of these pillars.  They played a good mix of old and nu stuff for the hour and a half set, and the entire performance was really stunning.  The beautiful light show and really cool projections made the show infinitely better.  It was really over way too soon, but I am so glad that I went.

I can’t wait to be able to see them again!

Man I am going to see Muse and I am very excited!
